SUMMARY POSTED BY JEFFREY GALLANT (GEERG) ON FRIDAY JULY 17 AT 01:45 AM.

Today's operations were conducted in Baie des Anglais. Team members made five (5) dives in order to deploy the third acoustic receiver and then conduct a search for the Greenland shark.

Even with the help of exceptional underwater visibility, no shark was seen today. In the past, we have occasionally required several days before locating a single shark so will remain confident that sharks will be seen - and tagged - by the end of the expedition.

We plan to install the last two acoustic receivers on Friday however weather conditions may hamper our work. Lots of rain is expected from Friday to Sunday.
