Passing of Mr. Jacques Lacoursière

We were very saddened to learn of the death of Mr. Jacques Lacoursière of La Baie (Ville de Saguenay). 'Jack' was a local legend known by all as a passionate fisher and lover of the great outdoors. He was a most knowledgeable connoisseur of the Saguenay Fjord, especially of its marine creatures.

Jack was a devoted contributor and friend during our expeditions and trips to the Saguenay in search of the Greenland shark. We always considered him a faithful member of our team and we were proud to count him among our best friends.

We will miss Jack on our trips to the Saguenay.
