GEERG and Mario Cyr search for Greenland shark on TV5

Famed underwater cinematographer Mario Cyr and Jeffrey Gallant take part in the filming of a new episode of Humanima, a TV5 French language television series that focuses on people and animals. This episodes presents the exciting career of Mario Cyr, the underwater cinematographer, as he returns to the St. Lawrence in search of the Greenland shark. Cyr is accompanied by GEERG's Jeffrey Gallant who serves both as guide and resident expert on this elusive shark species. In interviews for the show, both Cyr and Gallant convey their passion for underwater discovery, sharks and conservation. The show will air on TV5 sometime in 2008.
