Where is the R/V Skalugsuak?

This map shows the real-time position of the research vessel (R/V) Skalugsuak during GEERG shark research operations in the St. Lawrence Gulf/Estuary and Saguenay Fjord. The R/V Skalugsuak is owned and operated by GEERG. Skalugsuak's homeport is the Verreault Navigation shipyard in the town of Les Méchins, Québec. The Skalugsuak is specifically outfitted to conduct underwater research and diving operations in the North Atlantic.

NOTE: If the Skalugsuak does not appear in the middle of the map when the page loads, we are not currently at sea.
